Thank you to UPD!
City of Utica Police Department
You Helped to Make Our Community Safer with Cross Walks for Pedestrian Safety and Traffic Safety!
Mohawk Valley Resource Center for Refugees moved to
201 Bleecker Street, Utica on October 1, 2017.
We noticed that there were limited cross walks at intersections near our new building and reached out to Utica Police Department's Deputy Chief Ed Noonan. He was responsive and had knowledge of the area and traffic patterns. In short order a team of dedicated public servants were at our building, cross walks were painted, and signs were up.
A special shout out to Officer Geddes and the City Sign Guy Mark for getting it done!
Mohawk Valley Resource Center for Refugees Traffic Safety Program has been able to utilize the crosswalks for Pedestrian and Traffic Safety educational purposes
Thank you from all of us here at MVRCR!
