Tatjana Kulalic is currently the Immigration Coordinator in the Immigration and Citizenship Department at the Mohawk Valley Resource Center for Refugees. Tatjana arrived in the U.S. in 1999 following the war in Bosnia. She was in the process of completing her law degree at the University of Sarajevo Law School when the Bosnian war broke out. Due to the conflict she was unable to complete her degree. She was originally resettled in Maryland and where she worked as a Teachers Aid before moving to Utica. Tatjana has been a dedicated employee since 2001 when she was first hired as an Interpreter for her native Bosnian language. In 2003 she began working in the Immigration and Citizenship department and maintains status as an accredited Bureau of Immigration Appeal Representative through the Department of Justice, representing clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. In her free time Tajana enjoys reading and doing outdoor activities.
