Cultural Competency Trainings
In addition to interpretation and translation services, Compass Interpreters offers Cultural Competency presentations and trainings on a wide variety of topics including refugee and immigrant communities in the Mohawk Valley, challenges in health care, education systems, gender perspectives, aging, treatment, and more. A one hour cultural presentation can be given on a specific population or full day trainings can be offered covering a number of different areas.
The topics and the length of the trainings can be tailored to fit your organization’s specific needs. We want to provide a training that is going to be meaningful and beneficial for your staff.
