The Mohawk Valley Resource Center for Refugees provides trainings in cultural competence in numerous health, social service, educational and employment settings throughout New York State.

Through our trainings, we help individuals increase their awareness of cultural differences, expand their knowledge about these differences, learn some skills to help them successfully communicate and interact with people of different cultures, and make individual commitments to continue learning about the diversity that makes our American melting pot so colorful.

We offer a variety of programs, including:

• 1 hour Introduction to Cultural Competence
• Full Day Immersion
• Advanced Cultural Competence

We can customize these trainings to fit your needs, your schedule and your time frame.

We can come to your place of business and deliver the program directly to your employees or we can host the program at our Multi-Cultural Center.
